How do you explain that its not their inadequacy as a lover - because that is far, far from the truth - but just a part of you that's always been?
Do you ignore it and hope it goes away - and hurt from the frustration when it still fights inside you?
Do you live for the person you are - albeit conscious of the pain it inflicts on your Beloved?
Are you supposed to make a choice - not really knowing if that will stay, because you're dealing with something so delicate?
How do you react when you understand how he feels - but need to be heard?
Is it acceptance or mere tolerance?
How can you say you accept someone you love - but want to turn them?
Do you force yourself to change for the sake of your relationship - or painstakingly resolve it?
Do you see it as change or adaptation?
How do you react when either way, both paths seem to inflict pain on one or the other?
What is unconditional love when you say our relationship risks deteriorating if you let me be who I am?
Do you sit back and watch me hurt or step outside of yourself for a while and try to see the struggle within me?
How can you leave me to make a choice when all is vague?
